Tri-Arc Gases & Welding Supplies is a fully independent industrial gas and welding supplies company based in Cambridge, Ontario. Under the direction of both Paul and John Filiatrault the company is uniquely qualified to offer outstanding customer service to the area companies.
Paul and John both grew up literally in the welding supply industry as their father Paul Sr. had started Tri-County Welding Supplies Limited located in Kitchener, Ontario. Paul Sr. started his career working for Air Liquide Canada in Montreal in 1946, and worked there for 21 years. In 1967 he decided to become an Air Liquide distributor in Kitchener, Ontario
Sons, Robert, John and Paul Jr. all worked full time after receiving their university degrees and helped guide the company to be the premier distributor of industrial gases and welding supplies in Waterloo, Wellington and Perth counties. In 2009 Tri-County was sold to Air Liquide.
After six years working for the corporation, John and Paul felt strongly they needed to go back into business to serve customers the way they deserve to be looked after.
Thus Tri-Arc Gases & Welding Supplies Ltd. was born.
With over 65 years of combined industry experience, Paul and John feel strongly they will live up to that desire.
